Ninety-six years after women in the United States were given the right to vote, we finally have our first female presidential candidate from a major political party. Whoever is “your” candidate, I think we can all agree that this is a watershed moment that should be celebrated. I plan to open a bottle of champagne and toast Hillary because this has happened in my lifetime and in my children’s lifetime. I really couldn’t be more joyful about it! (Well, until she becomes President when I’ll just bathe in a bathtub of Ruinart.)
