Pssst… Want to know my secret cocktail advice for that transition time between April showers and May flowers? It’s a newly opened neo-bistro from the Maison Bleu team and it’s hidden away in Montparnasse.
Les Fauves’ tropical vibe and tasty menu are enough to make you head to this Left Bank location. But the cocktails and covered terrace are the clinchers, especially during these in-between months when you want to be outside but can’t fully commit to an al fresco aperitif.
Another reason to seek out this sweet spot? In addition to a worthy eponymous cocktail, they’re serving up the Tommy’s Margarita. This drink originated in the 90’s at Tommy’s Mexican restaurant in San Francisco and went on to become a modern-day cocktail classic. While it’s still not easy to find in Paris (except at Les Fauves), it’s an ideal tipple to get you geared up for the summer months to come.
Les Fauves calls itself a place with character—strong, authentic and a little wild. Its a cool description for a bar, but it’s an even better description for our readers. Bottoms up, LES LOLOS!
