Baby Style: Mori Sleepsacks + Giveaway!

I love baby swag and nothing makes me happier than talking about it. When a friend recently asked what baby items to include on her registry, I gave her a 4-page list that included pros and cons for each item… That’s normal, right? (Pass on that list, Hadley! – Ed.)

I was super excited when MORI, a London-based baby clothing company, reached out to see if I wanted to give their sleep sacks a test run. Um, YES!

I received the Clever Sleeping Bag and it’s pretty awesome. If they came in adult sizes, I’d totally buy one for myself.

Here’s what I love:

Both the summer and winter sacks feel lightweight.
(They’re .5 and 2.5 TOG, respectively). It’s a welcome change from the overly thick, heavy sleep sacks favored by French brands. My son tends to get hot while sleeping so I would probably use the summer one year-round.

The fabric is insanely soft.
They’re made from a 100% organic bamboo-cotton blend that feels equally luxe and comfy.

It grows with your child.
I dropped a lot of cash buying a total of six sleep sacks as my child grew from baby to toddler. The design team at MORI took this problem into account when creating a durable sack that can be used for a baby (4kg+) until they’re 2 years old (92cm). Brilliant.

It’s super cute.
Babies spend a lot of time in their sleep sacks, so it’s nice to have a visually-pleasing design. My favorite is the striped sleeping bag, which is the perfect complement to any French baby’s marinière wardrobe.

The Clever Sleeping Bag features two ways to secure baby inside: a side zipper and snaps at the shoulder. I like having two quick-and-easy ways to get baby in and out of the sleep sack. However, if you have a toddler who doesn’t like wearing a sleep sack, he may be able to escape using the shoulder snaps.
