Happy New Year! This year we’re doing things a little differently. Rather than a too-long list of impossible-to-keep resolutions, we’re trying out something a little more realistic and—dare we say?—more mature: Moderation. The current low-octane trend in cocktails makes it easy to opt for drinks with less liquor in lieu of that drastic (and designed-to-fail) detox.
This month, head to newly opened bar and restaurant Bonhomie. From the team behind Little Red Door, this self-proclaimed “soulful playground for chefs, bartenders and baristas” is the latest place to be in Paris. And though their drinks menu changes regularly, you’ll always find their eponymous cocktail on offer. Made with Suze, it’s a bittersweet aperitif style sip that’s very low in alcohol. If you’re still cocooning post-holidays, it’s a snap to make at home.

- 60ml salted grapefruit juice*
