Let’s celebrate summertime! Time to hit your favorite terrace with something cold and sparkling in hand. Don’t have a favorite terrace? I’ve got you covered.
The best new Left Bank location to open is the large and loft-like Marcello, which takes its inspiration from both Brooklyn’s bars and Italy’s cafés. Not only do they serve drinks and food all day long at this Italian-American mashup, but the cocktails fall right in the sweet spot between cool NYC creativity and classic Turin aperitivo.
Head barman Pierre mixes up a menu of various spritz-style cocktails with bases like artisanal beer or herbal gin. But the best of the bunch for a sunny apero is their namesake spritz. This bitter, bubbly drink will keep you and your girlfriends cool on their sweet courtyard terrace. And when you’re ready to move onto another something bubbly, they’ve also got prosecco on tap. Santé!
(We just went there last night for an apero and this place is absolutely perfect! Forest nails it again! – MK)

Hey there,
As a Parisian on holidays in Paris, i ran to Marcello straight out of the plane. beside from the looooong wait, i felt madly in love of Nessim the bartender who mixed me a custum drink that amazed me.
Thanks for the tip!
Alexandra
