La Belle Otero @ Maison Souquet

0

Shorter days and the crisp autumn air naturally make us want to cozy up somewhere warm and inviting. The downright sexy Maison Souquet beckons. A former bordello during the Belle Epoque era, Maison Souquet has been transformed into a lush boutique hotel in trendy SoPi (aka South Pigalle). Its discreet salon is all red velvet and rich wood, complete with a hidden bar, luxe library and a huge fireplace.

Sink into a settee by the fire and ward off the chill with La Belle Otero cocktail. The drink is sweet and strong with a hint of bitters — like its namesake, the Folies Bergère star and famed courtesan to princes and kings.

For those who prefer cocooning chez elles, La Belle Otero, with its homemade chocolate and fig liqueur is a lovely recipe for cool fall evenings. La Maison Souquet shares it exclusively with LES LOLOS.
